    1. The cold

It usually starts on the worst night of the year

No heat, a strange noise, a thermostat that stopped listening. Whatever it is, the first step is the same: tell us what's happening.

      About Mohib
    3. The whole system

      We look past the symptom

Heating and cooling is a system: equipment, ductwork, airflow and controls. The fix starts with finding where it actually broke down.

    4. The rooftop

Cooling that holds up in July

Central air, heat pumps, mini-splits and rooftop units, repaired or replaced and tested before we leave.

    5. The ignition

      Furnaces done right

From a failed igniter to a full replacement, heating equipment is set up and safety-checked so it runs clean all season.

    6. The heat

Air that actually reaches every room

Duct repairs, sealing and balancing so the warm air ends up where you live, not in the walls.

    7. Home

      Comfort you stop thinking about

The goal is simple: a home that stays at 72 and a system you don't have to worry about. Seasonal tune-ups keep it that way.

Four quick checks that sometimes solve it

If these don't fix it, call and we'll take it from there.

Smell gas? Don't touch light switches or the thermostat. Leave the home right away, then call your gas utility or 911 from outside.
    1. Check the thermostatMake sure it's set to Heat or Cool, the temperature is set past the room temperature, and the batteries aren't dead.
    2. Check the breaker and switchLook for a tripped breaker in your panel and make sure the furnace service switch (it looks like a light switch) is on.
    3. Check the filterA clogged filter can shut a system down or choke airflow. Replace it if it's grey and dusty.
    4. Check the outdoor unitIn summer, clear leaves, snow or debris around the condenser so it can breathe.

    Common questions

    What areas do you serve?
Chicago and nearby suburbs. If you're not sure whether you're covered, call 224-529-9415 and ask.
Should I repair or replace my furnace or AC?
It depends on the age of the equipment, how often it's failing, and what the repair costs compared to a new system. Mohib will lay out both options so you can decide.
Do you work on my brand of equipment?
Call with your equipment's brand and model number (usually on a label inside the panel door) and we'll tell you.
How often should I service my system?
Once a year for each season is a good rule: a heating check in the fall and a cooling check in the spring.
How often should I change my filter?
Typically every 1 to 3 months, depending on the filter type, pets and dust. Check it monthly during heavy use.
Do you work on commercial buildings?
Yes, including rooftop units. Call to talk through your building.
What's the fastest way to reach you?
A phone call to 224-529-9415. You can also send a request below or email MaxsummitSolutions@gmail.com.
